The following Computer courses are currently being offered at Ararat Neighbourhood House:
Introductory Computer CourseTuesday afternoons during school terms 1pm - 5pm This course caters to the needs of those who are not familiar with how to use a computer. Great for the beginner or for those who want to refresh or expand their knowledge and skill. Our tutor has the skills ready to pass on to you. No prior computer knowledge is required to get you started.
Intermediate Computer CourseTuesday afternoons during school terms 1pm - 5pm This course is designed to build on pre-existing skills and address key digital skills including, online research and applications including Internet and Email, online banking, online shopping, checking weather, finding public transport options, reading maps, online study, interacting with government and non-government services, social networking, and finding and applying for work. Aimed at participants who have a basic understanding of computers or who have already completed the Introductory Computer Studies course.
| iPad for BeginnersFortnightly on Tuesday afternoons starting 18 June 2019 1pm - 3pm Cost: $10 per session For all those who might be feeling a little befuddled by iPads, Tablets and Smartphones. Want to master your SmartTech? Are your devices getting the better of you? Confused and befuddled..... Don't throw it, excel at it! Ararat Neighbourhood House will be running SmartTech classes fortnightly starting Tuesday 18 June. Bring your tablets/smartphones along and let our tutor help you become the master of your own devices.
