HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

Every first Mondays of the month 9am-11am

Cost $80

This unit of competency provides the skills to recognise and manage a person who is in cardiac arrest. This training will certify you to:

  • Provide CPR life support
  • Management of a casualty and,
  • Management of an incident and other first aiders until the arrival of medical assistance

On successful completion, participants will receive a nationally recognised statement of attainment in HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation. 

Annual Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) refresher is recommended.

HLTAID011 Provide First Aid 

Every first Mondays of the month 

 Cost $180

The unit of competency HLTAID011 Provide first aid describes the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid response, life support, management of casualty(s), the incident and other first aiders, until the arrival of medical or other assistance.

It applies to all workers who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.

On successful completion, participants will receive a nationally recognised statement of attainment in HLTAID011 Provide first aid, valid for three (3) years from the completion date.

HLTAID012 Provide an emergency First Aid response in an education and care setting

Mondays 9am-4pm

Cost $250

This unit of competency provides the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to infants, children and adults.

During this course you will be provided with the skills to provide first aid, perform CPR an all three dummy types and gain skills in Asthma and Anaphylaxis management.

Undertaking an approved Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) program gives participants the skills and knowledge necessary to contribute to a safe, enjoyable environment in licensed premises.

SITXFSA001  Participate in Safe Food Handling Practices

This course  is the entry level unit of competency for food safety training within the Hospitality sector.

It  covers the skills and knowledge required to use personal hygiene practices to prevent contamination of food that might cause food-borne illnesses.

Included is basic food safety practices such as personal hygiene and conduct, food handling, housekeeping and waste disposal and responsibilities where work involves preparation or serving of food in establishments such as cafes, clubs, hotels or bars.

Basic Coffee Making

This course will provide you with necessary skills and training to prepare you for work in the hospitality industry.  You will learn all about ‘coffee’ and how to use a coffee machine to make a “perfect coffee shot.”
