Welcome to Ararat Neighbourhood House
Ararat Neighbourhood House is a not-for-profit organisation committed to providing a friendly, welcoming environment for members of the local community and surrounds. Operating since 1979, Ararat Neighbourhood House has been here for you. Proudly designing and providing innovative programs, services and activities which directly address the ever-changing, identified needs of our local community. We partner with local service providers to give access to affordable, diverse programs that meet the needs of personal, social and professional development. Ararat Neighbourhood House celebrated it’s 40th Anniversary on 4 July 2019.
Approximately 120 people from across the state came together to join us in celebration of all that Ararat Neighbourhood House has provided for our local community over the last four decades. Shared stories, memories, laughter and way too much food, made for a great day had by all. 2020 has been a topsy turvy year thanks to the pandemic. Many of our programs have been suspended since March, and we are only now, in November, being able to recommence some group activities. Of course, our ANH Food Hub has been busily operating throughout, supporting those who have needed an extra hand with food. We continue to operate the Food Hub by appointment only Tuesdays - Fridays. ANH is pleased to have some laughter and life back, and we look forward to hosting you soon.
